I met with Chris B for three lessons and learned so much about dog training. He was informative and really understood the issues we were having and had reasonable solutions, practices, and timeline for us to follow. My dog is a Catahoula Leopard rescue and has a high prey drive. This resulted in difficulties with on leash walking, correct play behavior, issues greeting people, and issues with recall. One of the biggest issues was with play, he had a tendency to snap and play very roughly. After spending over a year trying different trainers using R+, I wanted to see if a balanced training approach fit us more. I was a little nervous, but Chris actually showed us how to use the tools of a balance training. This has completely transformed my dog and to my surprise my relationship with my dog. My dog (Tobi) is way more excited to participate in training and since switching I find that he is more receptive. In the last 6 months we have taken Tobi to farmers markets, dozens of hikes, and to so many events.
